• Question: Why are disease's here on Earth

      Human bodies are really complicated, made up of lots of parts that can go wrong. Diseases happens when something goes wrong… But you know they probably don’t only happen on Earth – if there are aliens out there they probably get colds and other diseases too!

    There are different kinds of diseases too, some diseases are caused by your genes, some are caused by things going wrong in your body and some diseases can even be transmitted from person to person or through infected food and water.

    Humans aren’t the only creatures on Earth that get diseases either, lots of animals get diseases and plants too! An awful disease that affects potatoes called potato blight is what led to the great famine in Ireland!
