In the 1990’s a scientist asked the very same question and the answer they came up with was five million trillion trillion! That’s 5 with thirty zeroes after it!

A cool fact about the number of bacteria living in/on one person is: for every one human cell there are ten bacterial cells and these bacteria are made up of 400-500 different species.
