• Question: There is this picture on the web called "The Dress". Some see it blue and black , some see it blue and gold and others see it white and gold. Does it have something to do with the quality of your eyesight?

Many experts have cited the colour constancy feature of the human colour perception system, which attempts to make colours appear consistent under varying types of illumination, as being responsible for the different colours identified in that photograph. If the viewer assumes a white illuminant, the dress appears blue and black, but if a blue illuminant is assumed, the dress appears white and gold. Its nothing to do with eye sight quality. Its all about perception of viewing.
