Like any good scientist, I’m going to admit that I’m not an astronomer, so I don’t really know enough to say!

I’d guess that a lot of good astronomers and cosmologists have thought hard about it, and done a lot of work on it, so if they think that’s the best theory at the moment, I’m with them. But who knows – theories can change.

I too do not have much information on this.. I believe because I believe scientists have words hard to come up with this theory. May be or may not be in future we may find another theory. Till then its Big Bang.

I don’t know enough about it to answer you properly I’m afraid.

A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method and repeatedly tested and confirmed through observation and experimentation. It doesn’t mean it has been proven beyond any doubt and it doesn’t mean it can’t still be disproved, that is why we need to keep researching!

I’m not sure what happened, some believe God made the universe and others believe in the Big Bang. I honestly don’t know enough to make a decision and it was a very long time ago!!
The reasons behind both are possible and us scientists cannot exclude any possibility until we prove the theory!!

Most astronomers believe the Universe began in a Big Bang about 14 billion years ago. At that time, the entire Universe was inside a bubble that was thousands of times smaller than a pinhead. It was hotter and denser than anything we can imagine.

Then it suddenly exploded. The Universe that we know was born. Time, space and matter all began with the Big Bang. In a fraction of a second, the Universe grew from smaller than a single atom to bigger than a galaxy. And it kept on growing at a fantastic rate. It is still expanding today.
